Who We Are
Our Philosophy
Turbomachinery is not forgiving. Rotors spin at tens of thousands of revolutions per minute. Tolerances are measured in microns. Thermodynamic cycles leave no room for approximation. In this world, what separates a working prototype from a failed experiment is not ambition — it's expertise.
Turbochill was built on a simple conviction: the energy transition needs better hardware, and better hardware needs people who genuinely understand fluid mechanics, rotor dynamics, and thermal systems — not in theory, but through decades of hands-on design, testing, and iteration.
We are a team of engineers and researchers who have spent their careers inside labs, test cells, and manufacturing floors. We design high-speed compressors, expansion turbines, heat pumps, and cryocoolers — and we take them from a sketch on a whiteboard all the way to a running machine.
What Drives Us
Every machine we deliver reflects a set of principles we refuse to compromise on.
Our designs are rooted in first-principle analysis. We model, simulate, and validate — because in rotating machinery, assumptions fail at speed.
We don't hand off a CAD file. We design, manufacture, assemble, test, and commission — staying accountable from concept to first spin.
We publish specifications we can prove. Every efficiency figure and pressure ratio we quote has been earned on a test bench, not on a slide deck.
Our People
A small, focused group with deep roots in turbomachinery research, product development, and industrial deployment.
Researcher and engineer bridging academic science with industrial reality. Assistant Professor at the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery of the Polish Academy of Sciences, with research experience at the University of Bayreuth. His expertise in fluid dynamics, thermodynamic cycle design, and high-speed rotor systems forms the scientific backbone of Turbochill's technology.
Over a decade of hands-on experience designing machines and thermal energy systems. Former Chief Designer of ORC systems and a researcher at the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery. He leads all engineering development at Turbochill — from aerodynamic design of impellers and turbines to packaging complete systems ready for deployment.
A co-founder of Turbochill with 10 years of experience in the design, operation, and diagnostics of rotating machinery. As an Assistant Professor at the Polish Academy of Sciences, he brings rigorous experimental methodology to every test campaign — ensuring that our machines not only perform but can be verified, monitored, and maintained in the field.
Over 20 years of experience spanning development, manufacturing, and servicing of rotating machinery across aerospace, automotive, and energy sectors. Former Technical Director at Pankl Turbosystems and Blackcad Engineering, with prior roles in technical leadership at GE Aviation, GE Energy, and Honeywell Turbo Technologies. He brings world-class product development discipline to everything Turbochill builds.
