In our offer, you can find oil-free and hermetic compressors as well as small and medium power turbines and turbogenerators.
We design and deliver comprehensive solutions for high-speed centrifugal compressors and turbines for industrial applications in chillers, heat pumps, waste energy recovery, compression, and expansion of process gases.
We design, manufacture, and implement high-speed, hermetic, and oil-free turbomachinery with small and medium power ranging from several to several hundred kilowatts, which are used in devices such as chillers, heat pumps, ORC systems, process gas compression systems, and energy recovery systems.
Turbomachines have a number of advantages compared to positive displacement (volumetric) devices, which are traditionally used in the fields such as the HVAC&R industry.
Besides developing new products, we specialize in designing, analyzing, optimizing, and testing custom solutions, both small-scale and industrial, as well as for large-scale power applications.
Our engineers have extensive experience in fields such as fluid mechanics, heat transfer, rotordynamics, and structural component durability. Moreover, as a group that has formed a scientific staff for many years, we collaborate with Polish and international universities and research institutes.
Turbochill Sp. z o.o. is developing a series of innovative centrifugal compressors designed for use in air conditioning, chillers, and heat pumps. These compressors, unlike the currently most commonly used positive displacement machines, belong to the group of turbomachines (dynamic devices), which has a tangible and positive impact on their performance and operating costs.
Traditional turbomachinery was, until recently, the domain of large devices and process installations. Smaller devices, with a power range of several to several hundred kilowatts, are characterized by relatively high rotational speeds, which translates into certain technical challenges related to bearings, sealing technology, electrical drives, and control. By applying in-house solutions in aerodynamics, gas and liquid bearings, and using modern power electronic systems, we have been able to meet these difficult design challenges.
